Skills Summary

Started off to become an Industrial Arts (metal shop) teacher. Got side tracked and joined the Army. I Crewed Cobra Helicopters in the Army. After the Army I got into electronics. I physically build my first house just outside Reno Nevada. It took me 1 year and 3 weeks to do it. This picture was taken just before it was painted. Moved back to my home town in Texas and became a robotics design engineer. After being copped up down in a design lab under lock and key I wanted to get out and see the world. I then took a job as an Electronic Field Service Engineer and traveled all over the world. Eleven years of that and I was ask to help start a company with it's own product. They couldn't afford me so they offered me a very low salary to pay the bills and part of the company for the future. That company now has franchises all over the USA and will go international this year. Now I have my own company, doing my own thing. I still have my privately held stock in the other company and receive quarterly dividend checks from the company. In all that I have developed skills in hardware development, software development, photography, video, audio, electrical, plumbing, water & snow skiing, fishing, and scuba. I have built up and owned a home computer sense 1984 (now I have 5). I was using the internet before the public even know there was such a thing.

Never took up skydiving. I use to tell my skydiving friends, who were always trying to get me to take it up, that I had one major advantage in scuba that they did not. If I got into trouble, I could ditch my gear and go back up.

Education

Graduate of Reno High School, Reno, Nevada, USA. I met my first true love Lynda in the 10th grade. We were together up until graduation. We just didn't quite make it all the way.

Attended North Texas State University now The University of Texas at Denton, Denton Texas. At the start of my second year I met my wife Janet of 38 years here (we are still married). She was a substitute blind date.
